Metro Parks Summer Series: Rocky Fork 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸
Another park.
Another stamp.
We headed to Rocky Fork Metro Park.
With very solid expectations.
And it delivered.
We skipped the forest,
And hit the meadow.
Took in the scenery.
Let Zuli set the pace.
(Which means we stopped a lot.)
But that’s kind of the point.
Slow exploring.
Little discoveries.
Tadpoles.
Woodpeckers.
Snakes sunbathing.
Plenty of fresh air.
Open. Peaceful. Easy to wander.
The kind of place you don’t rush through.
And definitely don’t want to leave.
Another Metro Parks Summer Series win.

Metro Parks Summer Series: Inniswood Metro Gardens 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸
Some parks are for playing.
Some parks are for exploring.
And some parks…
Are for slowing down.
Inniswood is one of our favorites.
And it’s easy to see why.
Quiet paths.
Gardens everywhere.
Flowers around every turn.
The kind of place that feels peaceful the second you walk in.
We wandered the trails.
Stopped more than we walked.
Found little story spots tucked throughout.
Explored ruins with beautiful quotes.
And plenty of places to sit.
And just… breathe.
No rush.
No agenda.
Just a really good reset kind of day.
Another Metro Parks Summer Series win.
